Flipping Things for Profit

Man at a garage sale looking at items to buy

Lately, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with scanning for things to sell and profit from.

This definitely isn’t a new thing to me. In fact, I used to do it quite a bit when I was younger – often buying items from the clearance section of a store and then re-selling online for slightly more (always enough to make a nice wee profit!).

I kind of forgot about this whole buying low/selling high(er) thing, or as it’s more commonly known, flipping. This all happened around the same time I got my 1st proper job – up until now that is.

Depression Is Not an Option

This post is part of an ongoing series titled Things That Have Improved Your Life.

In this series, I welcome readers of this blog to share an improvement they’ve made in their life. This improvement could be anything – from a new diet or exercise plan to a certain place visited or person they’ve met.

I then ask questions as to how their life has improved, and whether they would recommend others try to make this same thing possible in their own lives.

Blogging Series: Things That Have Improved Your Life

What's Your Story?
Made an improvement to your life? Share it here with us!

I’m going to be starting a new blogging series titled Things That Have Improved Your Life.

I’m looking for people who would like to talk about an improvement they’ve made in their own life. If this sounds interesting to you, please read on below and get in touch.

What’s It About?

In this series, I will be interviewing readers of this blog who have made a genuine improvement in their life. I’m going to be asking them specific questions as to what this improvement is, how it came about and whether they would recommend others try doing the same thing.

It’s going to be interesting to see what sort of responses come back from this. Maybe there will be something that we can all look to adopt in our lives for the better. Or at least give a try. After all – don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, right?

I’m definitely looking forward to trying some new things out, and seeing what sort of improvement – if any – it has on my life.

How Can I Take Part?

If this sounds like something that you want to be part of then get in touch. Check out my Contact Page and send me a message explaining that you’re interested. I’ll get back to you and we can take things from there.

Any Rules?

The only rule is this will have to be something that has genuinely improved your life, something that you can talk about in detail. This could be a new diet plan, exercise regime, product you’ve purchased, a person you’ve met, book you’ve read, habit you’ve built etc…

Get the idea?

At the end of each interview, there will be an opportunity to link back to your own blog/website or social media channels. This will be ideal for building up more of a readership yourself. The overall idea is that everyone will benefit in the end.

I’m really excited about this. I can’t wait to see what sort of things we come up with.

If you’re currently reading this and thinking to yourself I’ve made an improvement in my life by doing XYZ and I would love to share it then you should definitely take part in this. I want to hear from you.

Hope to speak to you soon.

All credit for the following post goes to the Reddit user Ryans01 for his awe-inspiring self-help advice which he provided to another Reddit user, maxstolfe, during a time of need.

I was checking out Reddit one day when I came across a post that had happened to go viral. The advice from this one reply, in particular, blew my mind because it was so simple, yet easy to follow.

It was all based on living your life with no more zero days while being grateful to the past, present and future you.

The Importance of Putting Yourself out There

the importance of putting yourself out there
Keep on keeping on if you want things to change!

I’ve learnt an important lesson from my fiance lately. It’s a lesson that I think many people could benefit from if they find themselves in a situation that they know needs to change. A situation which makes you miserable and adds nothing of value to your life. It could be the area you live in, the relationships in your life – or like my fiance, it could be your job.
